As many of you are aware of, on Sunday May 20, 2012, we will be having a 'Total Solar Eclipse' (Sampoorna Surya Grahanam) that can be seen in most of the western parts of USA. The eclipse timings are from 1:56PM to 7:49PM. As such, please note that our temple - Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Devasthanam - will remain closed on that day for the whole afternoon/evening duration (starting from 1:00PM on Sunday May 20, 2012)and will re-open at the normal time 10:00AM on Monday May 21, 2012. On Monday May 21, 2012, we will be performing GRAHANA SANTHI HOMAM at the temple in the evening between 5:00 - 7:00PM. Below are the 'Rasis' (Zodiac Signs) with the level of impact for this eclipse. Everyone whose 'Rasi' is mentioned below (under 'Most Impacted' and 'Average Impact') are advised to come and participate in the 'GRAHANA SANTHI HOMAM' and provide their 'Gothram', birth star and names to be included in the 'Sankalpam'.
